Shipping Policy

Thank you for purchasing a handmade, bespoke item from Grizzly Shed. Please read this Shipping Policy carefully before placing an order.

1. Made-to-Order & Processing Times

All items sold by Grizzlyshed are handmade and bespoke, created specifically to your order.

  • Our standard production time is [5-7] from the date of order, for most items, although some items may be held in stock and can be dispatched sooner. 

  • Production times may vary depending on complexity, materials, or order volume.

  • You will be notified if there are any unexpected delays.

Under UK consumer law, we will always deliver your item within 30 days of order unless a longer delivery time has been clearly agreed with you at the point of purchase.

2. Shipping Locations

We currently ship to:

  • United Kingdom

If you require shipping outside these locations, please contact us before placing an order.

3. Shipping Costs

  • Shipping costs are calculated at checkout and depend on size, weight, and destination.

  • Any applicable delivery charges will be clearly shown before you complete your purchase.

There are no hidden fees for UK orders.

4. Delivery Method & Timescales

  • Orders are shipped using Royal Mail Tracked 48 where possible.

  • Estimated delivery times (after dispatch):

    • UK Standard Delivery: [e.g. 2–5 working days]

    • UK Tracked / Signed: [e.g. 1–3 working days]

Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by postal services or circumstances beyond our control.

If you require the use of a different courier please contact us prior to placing your order.

5. Tracking & Dispatch Confirmation

Where available, you will receive a dispatch confirmation email with tracking details once your order has been shipped.

6. Missed or Failed Deliveries

Please ensure that your delivery address is correct at checkout.

If an item is returned to us due to:

  • an incorrect address,

  • failure to collect from a delivery office, or

  • refusal of delivery,

we may charge for re-delivery.

7. Lost or Damaged Items

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, we are responsible for your order until it reaches you.

  • If your item arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photographs.

  • If your item is lost in transit, we will offer a replacement or refund where appropriate. Order processing  / manufacturing times will still apply to this order if a replacement rather than reufnd is chosen.

8. Bespoke Items & Cancellations

As our products are made to your specifications, they are classed as bespoke goods.

In line with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, orders for bespoke items may be cancelled before production has started. Once production has begun, cancellation is no longer possible unless the item is faulty or not as described.

This does not affect your statutory rights.

9. Faulty or Incorrect Items

If your item is faulty, damaged, or significantly different from the description:

  • Please contact us at grizzlyshed@outlook.com within 14 days of receipt.

  • We will arrange a repair, replacement, or refund as required by UK law.

  • Where an item is faulty or incorrect, we will cover reasonable return postage costs.
