My Journey
At Grizzlyshed, I am passionate about creating exceptional wooden bowls and leather goods that embody the perfect blend of functionality and artistry. My journey began with a simple need for a new leather belt and has evolved into a commitment to sustainability and quality craftsmanship. The bowls stem from enjoying the touch and feel of a beautiful item that has come from a gnarly looking piece of wood. Where possible all wood is either collected locally or reclaimed from local sources.
My Commitment
My commitment is to transform reclaimed and unwanted materials into unique and timeless pieces that resonate with our customers. I strive to offer individuals a personal connection to our products, each carrying a story of renewal and purpose.
Leather used for my journals and smaller leather goods is siourced from unwanted hides from the automotive and shoe industry. Where possible they are are veg tanned, or eco tanned - using as few chemiocals as possible.
My belt lether is sourced from reputable UK suppliers that collect and tan hides as a by product of the meat industry.
